M365 : Microsoft Graph – Graph Explorer – New preview version of most popular tool Graph Explorer

LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL 🙂 Ignite 2019 made Office 365 developers / consultants / architects life more beautiful by announcing new version of most popular tool Graph explorer 🙂

New preview version looking awesome. On left pane of Graph Explorer , option coming for new preview version as

Following are few new features which I really loved:

Permissions: It shows the permissions consented to the current user.

Access Token: Shows the access token. We could decode this 64 bit JSON toke with https://jwt.ms/ . Access token is the very important concept. We must understand in depth. To know more about access token please check my article “Office 365 – Microsoft Graph – Part 3 – Azure Access Token: to call Graph APIs from CSOM”

Code Snippets: Showing code snippet for executed query. This feature I really liked much. It will be saving lots of time of developers :). More interestingly it shows snippets in 4 languages 🙂

Adaptive Cards: Currently it shows current user details as shown in below figure:
