Microsoft 365 – Restricting Users Access to use Agents

In this article I am sharing small but important setting for restricting users access to use Agents in our Microsoft 365 tenant

Details

• Navigate to Microsoft 365 admin center – https://admin.cloud.microsoft/?#/homepage
  • We have detailed article how to navigate to Microsoft 365 admin center
• As we are on Microsoft 365 admin center

• From the left pane, click on “Agents” as shown in above figure
• As we expand “Agents” node

• Click on “Settings“, as shown in above figure
• We will be redirected to “Agent settings” page https://admin.cloud.microsoft/?#/agents/settings
• On “Agent settings” page we have an setting for “User access“

• Click on “User access” link, right pane will open as

• On “User access” right pane, we have options to restrict the users to access the agents
• On “User Access” pane we have an options for users access
  • All users – Restricts access to Agents to all users in tenant
  • No users – No restriction. All users can use Agents in our tenant
  • Specific users or groups – Restrict access to specific users or group
