Microsoft 365 : New feature – Microsoft SharePoint Online and Microsoft Stream: New video page templates

Greetings.

Today discussing one of the new feature Microsoft recently released. This new feature is related to new video template available to SharePoint online and Microsoft Stream.

New Feature : Microsoft SharePoint Online and Microsoft Stream: New video page templates

Details

• In SharePoint, we will see the new video page templates in the site template menu for both Pages and News.
• We will be able to create video pages and news posts directly from the Stream web app as well. 
• In SharePoint online, when we create new page, on Page templates pane we will see the Video page templates as shown in below figure

• In the Stream web app, we having the required editing access can select the new Create video news post button under the Share dropdown menu.

• As we click on “Create video news post” we will get an option to choose the video page template as shown in below fig

• As we “Use template” we will land on the page draft on the site where the video is stored.

We can create a SharePoint page or news post, highlight the desired video(s), and include related documents. I will cover two detailed articles for creating Video Pages from SharePoint online and Microsoft Stream web app.
