Microsoft 365 administration – OneDrive – How to get the report of unlicensed OneDrive accounts

Today sharing small Microsoft 365 admin learning related to OneDrive unlicensed accounts.

In this article I’ll share the steps for – how to get list of all OneDrive unlicensed accounts in CSV file.

Steps:

• Navigate to SharePoint admin center
  • We could navigate to SharePoint admin center from
    • Using direct URL – https://<tenantname>-admin.sharepoint.com/_layouts/15/online/AdminHome.aspx#/home. Here https://knowledgejunction1-admin.sharepoint.com/_layouts/15/online/AdminHome.aspx#/home
    • Or from Microsoft 365 admin center.

• As we are in SharePoint admin center

• As shown in above Image, from left menu, navigate to OneDrive accounts page. SharePoint admin center >> Reports >> OneDrive accounts
• We will be redirecting to oneDriveAccounts page (_layouts/15/online/AdminHome.aspx#/oneDriveAccounts)
• On OneDrive accounts page, we have list of unlicensed OneDrive accounts. (In my local development tenant its zero.)

• On right top corner of OneDrive accounts page we will see an option “Download report” as shown in above image.
