SharePoint Online: How to Activate the Reimagined SharePoint Experience

Greetings!

Microsoft is introducing a reimagined SharePoint experience that simplifies how users discover knowledge, publish content, and build solutions.

This update delivers an intuitive design, a streamlined information architecture, and foundational support for future AI‑assisted creation scenarios in SharePoint Online

To have this new SharePoint experience we need to enable the New SharePoint experience in admin center.

How to enable new SharePoint experience in admin center

• Navigate to SharePoint admin center
• We can navigate to SharePoint admin center either
  • Direct URL – https://mytenant-admin.sharepoint.com/ OR
  • From Microsoft 365 admin center – Small Tips and Tricks – SharePoint admin center – How to navigate to SharePoint admin center
• Once we navigate to SharePoint admin center, we are on SharePoint admin center home page as

• Once we are at SharePoint admin center home page, navigate to “Settings”
• From left pane, click on “Settings” link

• We will be redirecting to SharePoint admin center settings page / settings blade as shown in image below

• On SharePoint admin center settings page we have an option to enable / disable the New SharePoint experience
