Details

  • Microsoft is improving the Microsoft 365 group creation and editing experience in My Groups. This will help group owners more control and clarity from the start. The updated experience lets us set up key group, email, and security settings.

With this update, group owners can:

  • This experience provides greater visibility into how the group will behave once created or edited
  • The feature is enabled by default and does not require admin configuration
  • There is no impact to existing Microsoft 365 groups
  • This update may reduce follow‑up support requests related to group misconfiguration
