Managing Copilot Settings in Outlook: A Quick Guide

Today small setting / tip / learning for Copilot in outlook.

In this article, we’ll walk through how to change your Copilot settings in Outlook

Details

  • For Copilot license users, by default Copilot is enabled in Outlook
  • Generally, Copilot icon appears at right top corner as in image below

  • In case some time if Copilot icon does not appears or we need to hide the Copilot icon (scenario in which we do not want to show Copilot icon for some users) we have setting available
  • We have turn ON / OFF setting available from File menu of outlook

Steps

  • To update the Copilot setting navigate to “File >> Settings

  • Settings” dialog box will appear

  • On “Settings” dialog box, in left pane we will see “Copilot” option / link as shown in above image
  • Click on “Copilot” option / link
  • At right side “Preferences” pane will appear

  • On “Preferences” pane we have an setting to update Copilot visibility in Outlook
  • Edit the setting as per the our preference and we are done
