Almost year before we have published an article regarding retirement of Skype for Business Online – Microsoft 365 – News – Skype for Business Online will retire in 12 months and now date is very close. So this is just reminder to “Skype for Business Online” customers 🙂

Important News: Skype for Business Online will retire on – 31 July 2021

What this means OR what will get affected / Details :

• After the Skype for Business Online service retires, our organization can continue to use Microsoft Teams as part of an existing licensing agreement
• Support for the integration of third-party party Audio Conferencing Providers (ACP) into Skype for Business Online will end as Skype for Business Online retires
• Skype consumer service and Skype for Business Server products are not affected by the retirement of Skype for Business Online
• If organizations still not upgraded to Microsoft Teams, Microsoft highly recommends to upgrade to Teams ASAP
• All Skype for Business Online customers need to plan the transition to Microsoft Teams before access to Skype for Business Online will end
