Small Tips and Tricks – Microsoft 365 Defender – How to navigate to Microsoft 365 Defender portal

Greetings for the day!!!

This is very short article and repeatedly used in other articles so thought to write.

In this article we will discuss how to navigate to Microsoft 365 Defender portal

We can navigate to Microsoft 365 Defender portal with following ways

• By direct URL – https://security.microsoft.com/
• From Microsoft 365 admin center

Navigate to Microsoft 365 Defender portal from Microsoft 365 admin center

• Navigate to Microsoft 365 admin center either through office 365 portal or from direct URL – https://admin.microsoft.com/
• From office portal – navigate to URL – https://portal.office.com

• From office portal, navigate to Microsoft 365 admin center – click on “Admin” icon at the bottom from left pane as shown in above fig

• Form left pane / blade, please click on “… Show all” link to see all admin center
• On click of “… Show all” more links will appear at the bottom as shown in below fig

• From left pane, under “Admin centers” click on “All admin centers” as shown in above figure, to have list of all admin centers as

• As shown in above figures, Form left pane, Admin centers, click on “Security” link
• On click on “Security” we will be navigating to Microsoft 365 Defender portal as
