Greetings for the day!!! Today new important news related to Microsoft Stream webpart

News : New Stream (on SharePoint) web part will be start releasing from 15 August, 2023 and existing Stream(classic) web part retiring on 15 August, 2023

Microsoft published news on 9^th August related Microsoft stream SharePoint web part

This news is important for our users/admins who publishes videos either on Pages or in News postings

Details

• The Stream (Classic) web part in SharePoint will be retired on August 15, 2023.
• We will not be able to use this web part after 15 August, 2023.
• We will not see this web part in our web part tool box

• All existing SharePoint pages and news posts that were built using Stream (Classic) web part will continue to function as usual.

New Stream web part – Stream (on SharePoint)

• Stream (on SharePoint) web part will start to be available from Mid Aug.
• This web part will be allow us to configuration of a single video and multiple videos for videos stored in OneDrive or SharePoint.
