Today sharing one more new feature in Microsoft Teams.

New Feature – Share contact information of people in Microsoft Teams chat

Details

• Microsoft Teams now allows users to share contact information of someone who is not in a chat, making it easier for others to get to know other collaborators.
• Users can now easily share contact information in group chats and meeting chats.

Demo

• In chat window, type “@” as we use for mention, we will get suggestion to share contact – “share someone’s contact info“, contact which is not part of chat as

• As we click on “share someone’s contact info“, we will get popup to enter the name of contact person / user whose contact we need to share as

• Here I have selected the user – “Sayyam Sabadra” as

• As we share respective contact it looks like as in below image

• If we hover the contact, we could see the profile of contact as
