Microsoft 365 administration – How to get all site collections in a tenant

Greetings.

Today, in this article we will discuss – how to fetch all site collections in a tenant.

There are multiple ways to implement this use case

From UI – Microsoft SharePoint admin center

• Navigate to SharePoint admin center
• We can navigate SharePoint admin center with following ways
  • By direct URL – https://<tenant-name>-admin.sharepoint.com/ Example – https://knowledgejunction1-admin.sharepoint.com/_layouts/15/online/AdminHome.aspx#/home

• Once we navigated to SharePoint admin center, we will be at home page as

• From the left pane, click on “Active sites“, we will be redirected to “Active sites” page – “_layouts/15/online/AdminHome.aspx#/siteManagement/view/ALL%20SITES“, here – https://knowledgejunction1-admin.sharepoint.com/_layouts/15/online/AdminHome.aspx#/siteManagement/view/ALL%20SITES

• We have an option to “Export” as shown in above fig
• Click on “Export“, sites will be exported to CSV file as
