Major Update – Microsoft 365: Microsoft Lists: Mobile apps for iOS and Android will retire

Today I am sharing MAJOR UPDATE related to Microsoft Lists.

MAJOR UPDATE: Microsoft will retire the Microsoft Lists mobile apps for iOS and Android

DETAILS

• Microsoft will retire the Microsoft Lists mobile apps for iOS and Android
• Users should switch to the mobile browser experience
• Existing user data and information will not be affected by this retirement
• Users will continue to be available through either through Microsoft Lists for Windows desktop or the mobile browser

Important Dates

• Late June 2025:
  • An information banner will display in the app
  • It will inform users about the upcoming retirement of the app
  • The banner will also recommend they switch to the mobile web experience
• Mid-September 2025: New users will not be capable of install the mobile apps
• Mid-November 2025:
  • The app will no longer be visible for new users to download from the Apple App Store or Google Play
  • Existing app users will get an error when opening the app
