Microsoft 365 : MAJOR UPDATE – Microsoft To Do ending support for iOS 16 and macOS 12 – Time to take action

Today, I am sharing one of the MAJOR UPDATE related to Microsoft To Do.

MAJOR UPDATE: Microsoft To Do will stop supporting iOS 16 and macOS 12 starting late August to mid-September 2025.

Details

• Microsoft To Do will stop supporting iOS 16 and macOS 12 starting late August to mid-September 2025.
• We need to update the iOS 17 or MacOS 13 or later
• Users who are using older versions wont receive any updates
• Use of older versions will affect the performance and security
• To maintain app performance, security, and access to the latest features, Microsoft To Do will soon require updated operating systems
• The iOS version of To Do will support only iOS 17 and later
• The Mac version will support only macOS 13 and later

Action needs to be taken

• Update devices to iOS 17 or later and macOS 13 or later
• We need to communicate this change to affected users in advance to minimize disruption
• If required, we need to update our our organization device management policies to guarantee compability with the OS versions
