Today, I am sharing new feature for Microsoft 365 administrators related to Microsoft 365 Copilot.

New Feature: A new Copilot Search usage report will be available in the Microsoft 365 admin center by early September 2025

Details

• A new Copilot Search usage report will be available in the Microsoft 365 admin center by early September 2025
• This report will be showing user activity and search metrics
• This report will help organizations to monitor Copilot Search adoption and usage trends
• This report provides insights into how users in our organization are engaging with Copilot Search
• Report enabling better visibility and informed decision-making
• This report will include
  • Total search queries
  • Average search queries per user
  • Search usage trends
  • Per-user usage insights

How to navigate Copilot search usage reports – Reporting > Usage > Microsoft 365 Copilot > Copilot Search

• Navigate to Microsoft 365 admin center – https://admin.microsoft.com/#/homepage

• As we will be navigate to Microsoft 365 admin center, we will be on home page of Microsoft 365 admin center as

• From left pane of Microsoft 365 admin center, expand the “Reports” section
• From reports section navigate to “Usage” link
• “Reports Usage” page will open as shown in below image https://admin.microsoft.com/#/reportsUsage/

• As we click on “Usage” link, in right pane, from “Reports” section, expand the “Microsoft 365 Copilot” section as shown in above image
• To view “Copilot Search” report from “Microsoft 365 Copilot” section click on “Copilot Search” link
• We will be navigated to “Copilot Search” report as shown in below image https://admin.microsoft.com/#/reportsUsage/CopilotSearch
