Today again one new feature and small news 🙂

I was going through message center and this news/feature got my attention 🙂

New Feature :

Previously, OneDrive for Business and SharePoint online had an upload limit for 100GB per file.

Now, we can upload files up to 250GB across OneDrive for Business and SharePoint online. This is really great support from Microsoft and demanding from the organizations as well.

We could upload files either using sync client or web app as well. Microsoft recommends sync client to upload large files.

This change is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 70558.

Action to be taken in my organization : We need to train our users and update training material

To test large file upload, we could use the Fsutil.exe. We can create a file of required size using this tool. Please refer – https://www.windows-commandline.com/how-to-create-large-dummy-file/
