Greetings for the day 🙂 LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL 🙂 I hope we all are safe 🙂 STAY SAFE, STAY HEALTHY 🙂

I saw one change happen in SharePoint web part tool box. Really nice change so thought to share. New feature 🙂

For this update there is message as well in message center.

Update SharePoint web part toolbox is updated. Now added categories, a toggle to switch between a grid view and list view, web part descriptions in list view, and a section for the user’s most frequently used web parts

Lets have look updates one by one.

  • Grid View : As shown in following fig – web parts are categorized in Grid view. There is switch available to toggle between Gird view and List view

List view : As shown in following fig – web parts are categorized in List view. There is switch available to toggle between Gird view and List view. In this view we will see descriptions as well for the web parts

Categories : Web Part are divided into following categories :

  • All
  • Frequently used
  • Text, media and content
  • Documents, lists and libraries
  • Feeds,
  • News, people and events
  • Data analysis
  • Regional information
  • Advanced
