Today new feature related to Microsoft Teams

New Feature – Admin app is available in Microsoft Teams app store

What is Admin app

• The Admin app offers a central place for viewing settings and performing core management tasks across Microsoft 365 and Teams
• We can download this Admin app from Microsoft Teams app store
• Features provided by Admin app
  • User settings
    • We can see all our Tenant users
    • We can add new users
    • Reset password feature is available
    • We could search through our users list
  • Teams
    • We could Add new Team from here
    • Could see the team details
    • Manage settings for following
      • Meetings
      • Messaging
      • Files
      • Webinars
  • Subscription Details
  • It allows us to install the latest office Apps

Details :

• To use this app we need admin permissions
• Only users with administrative rights can use this app
• To add app, login to Teams with your admin account
• Visit Teams app store from the option available in left pane at bottom as shown in below fig

• As we are in Teams app store, search for the app – Admin as in below fig

• Add the Admin app

• Once Admin app is added to our Teams, we have Admin dashboard as shown in below fig

• Users – we have option to Add new user, to reset password for the users

• We have option to manage Teams. Add new Teams, manage Team members

• We have Teams settings for – Meetings, Messaging, Files and Webinars

• We have settings for managing subscriptions as in below fig
