Small Tricks and Tips : SharePoint Online – showing image from external URL (external source) on modern page – Embed WebPart

Hi All,

Greetings for the day!!!

Today new tip / trick. I got requirement from business that we need to show one image from external site.

I thought to use Image WebPart and using link option but it seems not working

Since business want images from specific source we do not have an option to download and upload on our site

Workaround / Solution :

  • Using the Embed WebPart
  • In Embed web part – in iframe we can specify the image source
