Today discussing new SharePoint Online feature related to feedback button.

New Feature : Microsoft SharePoint Online- New feedback button.

Details

• Microsoft SharePoint Online is introducing a feedback button for users to submit compliments, problems, or suggestions about SharePoint features and functionality.
• The feedback icon will be visible on SharePoint sites.
• Microsoft will review all feedback submitted by customers to improve products and troubleshoot product issues.
• Feedback collection is on by default, but can be turned off using the Cloud Policy service for Microsoft 365 in the Microsoft 365 Apps admin center – https://config.office.com/officeSettings?sso=mac.

• Users can submit
  • Compliments,
  • Problems, or
  • Suggestions about SharePoint features and functionality to Microsoft.
• Users will see a feedback icon on their SharePoint sites (pages, document libraries, lists, and the SharePoint start page) accessible from the suite navigation. As shown in below fig.

• We could click to each button and submit the feedback
• Let’s explore – Give a compliment

• Report a problem – To report a problem, we have similar windows as for giving a compliment.
• Make a suggestions – This redirects us to feedback portal – https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback/forum/06735c62-321c-ec11-b6e7-0022481f8472 – I’ll write seperate article on the same.
