Today one more Major Update related to Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps.

MAJOR UPDATE – Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps: Files page retires September 1, 2024

Details

• Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps: Files page (https://security.microsoft.com/cloudapps/files?tid=6b38e1c3-a1fe-40cc-8b93-a4159a50592c)
• The Files page in Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps will be retired on September 1, 2024.
• Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps: Files page – provides data protection, gives us visibility into all the files from our connected apps.
• We can use Files page to filter files to investigate what kind of data is saved in our cloud apps.

Alternative Solution ?

• We should use the Policy Management page for creating, modifying, and exploring Information Protection policies and malware files.
• Information Protection policies can be created, modified and explored via the Policy Management page.
