In this article we will discuss – how to see all unlicensed users from Microsoft 365 admin center.

Details

• Navigate to Microsoft 365 admin center
• Navigate to Microsoft 365 admin center either through office 365 portal or from direct link – https://admin.microsoft.com/
• From office portal – navigate to URL – https://portal.office.com
  • We have detailed article for navigating to Microsoft 365 admin center – Microsoft 365 – Navigating to Microsoft 365 admin center
• As we navigate to Microsoft 365 admin center, we will be on the Home page as shown in image below.

• From Microsoft 365 admin center, we will navigate to list of Active Users.
• From left pane, expand the “Users” section.

• From left pane, click on “Active users“
• We will be redirected to “Active users” page. https://admin.microsoft.com/#/users
• From “Active users” page, we will go to “More actions“. Three dots (…) available at right hand side.

• When we click on “…” (More actions), pane appears with links as shown in image below.

• Click on “Filter” link
• At right hand side “Filters” list will as shown in image below.
• “All users” is the default filter selected

• Click on “Unlicensed users” filter
• We will see list of all unlicensed users as in below image
