Hello All,

Greetings for the day!!!

Today, I will share the recently released new feature for new card animation in Pages, News and Viva Amplify.

NEW FEATURE: Microsoft SharePoint will introduce a new card animation feature for Pages, News, and Microsoft Viva Amplify starting early April 2025

DETAILS

  • Cards can be animated for some web parts (Editorial cards, Images, and People) in SharePoint Pages, News, and Microsoft Viva Amplify
  • This feature will be enabled by default for new cards and can be managed in the web part property pane
SharePoint - Card animation - Animation of webpart is managed by webpart property - Animation

  • To preview the card animation, view the published page or use Preview mode
  • Pages and web parts created before this rollout are not affected by this change
