Chapter 8 – Microsoft 365 Copilot – Copilot Dashboard

We’ll continue journey of exploring Copilot.

Today we will explore Copilot Dashboard.

What is Copilot Dashboard?

• The Microsoft Copilot Dashboard is available in Viva Insights
• The Microsoft Copilot is available to any customer with a Microsoft 365 or Office 365 subscription for business or enterprise, and who has an active Exchange Online account.
• Neither a paid Viva Insights license nor a Microsoft 365 Copilot license is required to view the dashboard.
• For tenants with at least 50 Copilot licenses or tenants with at least 50 Viva Insights licenses, the dashboard includes full capabilities with metrics and advanced filters, including insights for Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat usage among non-licensed employees

Benefits of Copilot Dashboard

• The Microsoft Copilot Dashboard in Viva Insights helps organizations maximize the value of Copilot.
• It provides actionable insights to help our organization get ready to
  • deploy AI,
  • drive adoption based on how AI is transforming workplace behavior, and
  • measure the impact of Copilot.
• The dashboard covers the following categories of metrics:
  • Readiness
  • adoption
  • impact and
  • sentiment
• Metrics are aggregated at the tenant level or user level, depending on the licenses our tenant has.

NOTE: A minimum of 50 assigned Viva Insights licenses, or 50 assigned Copilot licenses (including the Viva Insights service plan), is required for data processing to kick off. Data processing takes up to seven days following license assignment.

From where I’ll access Copilot Dashboard?

• From Viva Insights web app.
• Navigate to Viva Insights web app either through direct URL or from AppLauncher

• We will be redirected to “Viva Insights”

• On “Viva Insights” page “Copilot Dashboard” tab is available.
• Scroll down at the bottom of page, “Open Copilot Dashboard” button available

• Click on “Open Copilot Dashboard” button available at the bottom of the page
• We will be redirected to “Microsoft Copilot Dashboard” page
