Microsoft Teams - Retention policies are now available for Teams private channel

Today new feature news sharing for Microsoft Teams
Background : Until end of June it was not possible to create retention policies for Teams private channel messages
New Feature:
- Now it is possible to create the retention policies for Teams private channel
- With this new feature you will be able to apply retention policies to user messages shared within Teams private channels
- For Teams private channel we need to create new seperate policy than the Teams channels or Teams chat policies
- Private channel policies will be scoped based on per user basis rather than Teams basis and hence we have an option to apply policies either for all users or sub set of users
Details:
- While creating new retention policy from the Information Governance solution in the Microsoft 365 Compliance Center, Administrators will see a new location for “Teams private channels”
