The Determined Sparrow: A Motivational Story from Bhagavad Gita

Today one small motivational story from Bhagavad Gita. This is motivational story so thought to share 🙂

Also, I feel nowadays to share these kinds of stories are very important to keep motivated our self, to determined and focused.
Ok, let’s start the show 🙂
Story – This is the story of sparrow, who lost her eggs in the waves of ocean
Condemn none: if you can stretch out a helping hand, do so. If you cannot, fold your hands, bless your brothers, and let them go their own way

Sparrow laid her eggs on the shore of the ocean, but big ocean carried the eggs on its waves. The sparrow become nervous and request the ocean to return her eggs. The ocean ignores the request.
Sparrow becomes terribly upset and decided to dry out the ocean, so she begins to pick up the water in her small beak. Sparrow is determined but it is impossible task. Everyone is laughing at sparrow.
This news is heard by the gigantic bird Garuda, bearer of Lord Vishnu. He come to see the sparrow. Garuda is incredibly happy by looking at Sparrow determination and decided to help and promise to her.
So, Garuda ask ocean to return her eggs or lest he himself start the task of the Sparrow. The ocean frightened and returned the eggs to Sparrow. The Sparrow become incredibly happy by the grace of Garuda 🙂
Moral of the Story : If everyone follows the respective goal with great determination, the Lord will definitely help. We will be surely successful if pursue our goals with great determination and not get discouraged if there is delay in success.
If faith in ourselves had been more extensively taught and practiced, I am sure a very large portion of the evils and miseries that we have would have vanished.
