Microsoft 365 : Microsoft Entra ID – Explore Microsoft Entra What’s New Hub: Highlights, Roadmap, and Change Announcements

Recently, I learned about an important feature of the Microsoft Entra admin center, so I thought to share it.

Microsoft has introduced the “What’s new” hub, referenced in the left pane of Microsoft Entra admin center. I found this reference very useful.

What is What’s New in Microsoft Entra hub

• It’s a centralized view of roadmap and change announcements across the Microsoft Entra identity and network access portfolio.
• With this new hub, we can stay informed with the latest updates and actionable insights to strengthen our tenant security posture.

• Navigate to Microsoft Entra admin center.

• Once we navigate to the “Microsoft Entra admin center“, we will be on the “Microsoft Entra admin” home page as

• In the left pane, we will see reference / link to the “What’s new” hub.
• As we click on “What’s new” link, we will be redirected to “What’s new” page – https://entra.microsoft.com/#view/Microsoft_AAD_IAM/ChangeManagementHubList.ReactView

• If we see “What’s new” page there are lots of updates.
• This page contains
  • Highlights
  • Roadmap
  • Change announcements

Microsoft Entra admin center – “What’s new” – ROADMAP

• On “Roadmap” tab, all the new features / solutions are listed related to “Identity” and “network access” for Microsoft Entra, as shown in image below.

Microsoft Entra admin center – “What’s new” – CHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT

• On “Change announcements” tab, listing about all the changes to existing functionality for Microsoft Entra.
• Beauty of this listing is, it also suggest me to whether “Action Required” or not.
