Microsoft Teams – Feature update – External presenters can join on mobile

Greetings for the day!!!

Today new feature related to Microsoft Teams.

New Feature – Microsoft Teams: External presenters can join on mobile.

Before this feature

• In Microsoft Teams, town halls and webinars currently support the ability for an external user outside the organization to present in an event only through the Teams desktop. 

With new feature

• With this update, external presenters will have the choice to join the event through the Teams mobile app. They can use their Android or iOS devices.
• Presenters external to the organization will now be capable of joining events through their mobile devices.

Note: It is currently not supported for external presenters to join a town hall or webinar through web platforms

Action to be taken in our organization

• We need to inform our users about this update.
