Today, I am sharing a feature update related to Viva Engage.

Major Update – Microsoft is improving the overall digests email experience in Viva Engage.

Details

• Microsoft is improving the overall digests email experience in Viva Engage.
• This change will reduce email noise and surface more relevant content for users to stay informed.
• Also no longer sending the daily digest on the same day.
• Users will no longer receive both daily and weekly digests on the same day.
• On the day the weekly digest is sent, the daily digest will be skipped
• The weekly digest will now include catch-up (subscribed) content, besides discovery content.
• Users continue to manage their daily and weekly digest subscriptions through existing Viva Engage notification settings.

Action we need to take in our organization

• We need to inform users or helpdesk staff about this change.
