Microsoft Teams : new feature – Teams admin center added support for downloading various reports from list pages – Teams list pages, Channel list pages, Members list pages and Users list pages

Greetings for the day!!! Today small new feature for Teams Administrators !

New Feature : For Microsoft Teams administrators, in Microsoft Teams admin center now option available to download data in csv file

• Teams List – https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/teams/manage
• Respective Teams members List
• Respective Teams channels List
• User List – https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/users

For data like Teams list, Teams Members list and User List filtering option is also available

With this new feature Teams Administrators life making easier

Details :

Navigating to Microsoft Teams admin center

• We can navigate to Microsoft Teams admin center either through Microsoft 365 admin center or direct url
• Navigate to Microsoft Teams admin center from Microsoft 365 admin center – https://admin.microsoft.com/

• From left pane, under Admin centers, click on “Teams”
• We will be redirecting to Microsoft Teams admin center – https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/dashboard

Exporting Teams list

• To export Teams list, from Microsoft Teams admin center, from left pane, navigate to Teams >> Manage teams

• Once we clicked on “Export” option from right side above on teams list as shown in above fig, we are ready to download the respective list as shown in below fig

• We have “Filter” option is also available, near “Export” option

• Here, we are filtering the Teams list – Name Contains word “Knowledge”
• Below figure shows the filtered result

• Following is the downloaded result in CSV file

Exporting respective Team members list

• Navigate to Team of which we need to export the members list
• As shown in below figure, click the Team – Here we are exporting the members of Team – Prasham Cloud Talk

• We will be navigating to respective Team details page
• On Teams detail page there will be three tabs
  • Members
  • Channels
  • Settings
• On right corner we have options like
  • Export
  • Filter
  • Settings
• From Members tab we will click on “Export”

• Once we exported members list, we are ready to download members list
• As we download members, CSV file generated as shown in below figure

Exporting respective Team channels list

• As we exported members list in above section from Teams details page, from second tab “Channels” we can download respective Team channel list

• Once we exported Teams channels list, we are ready to download channels list
• As we download channels, CSV file generated as shown in below figure

Exporting respective users list

• To export users list we will navigate to Teams users
• From Microsoft Team admin center >> Users >> Manage users
• We will be redirected to Teams users page as shown in below figure

• Once we exported Teams users list, we are ready to download users list
• As we download users, CSV file generated as shown in below figure

On every listing page, we have “Setting” option near “Export / Filter” which allows us to select the columns which we want in CSV file like as shown in below fig

• Once we have clicked on “Settings” option, left pane “Edit columns” will open for selection of columns which we need to include in CSV file
