Windows 10 – Setting up environment variables – Adding / updating / deleting

Greetings for the day!!! Today something I learn so sharing . SHARING IS CARING 🙂
I need to update the PATH environment variable on Windows 10 for one of SPFx component. I need to google so captured the details and sharing.
Detailed Steps
STEP 1 – From Control Panel open System as shown in below fig – Control Panel >> System and Security >> System

STEP 2 – From “System” , from left pane click on “Advanced system settings” as shown in below fig – Control Panel >> System and Security >> System >> Advanced system settings

STEP 3 – On click of “Advanced system settings“, “System Properties” dialog will open as shown in below fig – Control Panel >> System and Security >> System >> Advanced system settings >> System Properties

STEP 4 –
- From “System Properties” dialog navigate to “Advanced” tab – Control Panel >> System and Security >> System >> Advanced system settings >> System Properties >> Advanced
- From “Advanced” tab we have “Environment Variables...” button – Control Panel >> System and Security >> System >> Advanced system settings >> System Properties >> Advanced >> Environment Variable
- On click of “Environment Variables….” button we will have “Environment Variables” dialog as shown
- On “Environment Variables” we have various options to
- “New..” – to add new environment variables
- “Edit…” – to edit existing environment variables like PATH
- “Delete” – to delete existing environment variables
