Microsoft 365: Unleash Creativity with Image Shape Feature in SharePoint Online

Today discussing SharePoint Online new feature related to images. Now we can apply shapes to images.

New Feature : Microsoft SharePoint Online: Apply shapes to images

Details

• SharePoint Online introduce a feature allowing us to apply shapes like square, circle, triangle, hexagon, pebble, and teardrop to images in Image and Text web parts.
• This feature is to bring more interest to a page, we will be able to apply a shape over an Image web part or inline image in a Text web part.
• Shapes include square, circle, triangle, hexagon, pebble, and teardrop.
• This feature is available for images in Image web part and inline image in Text web part.

Demo : Image web part

• Lets add Image web part on our SharePoint page and add image to it

• As “Image” web part is added on SharePoint page, please select / browse the image we need to show

• Please have a look at below image in image web part. We have “Shape” option is available.
• If we click on “Shape” option, we have list of Shapes available.

• Here, we are applying “Triangle” shape on the image.
• After applying “Triangle” shape, it look like as below image.

• Similarly, we can try out the shapes for inline images in “Text” web part.
