Today sharing new feature which Microsoft updated recently.

NEW FEATURE – Microsoft Viva Amplify and Microsoft SharePoint : New required footers will be automatically applied to email.

Details

• New automatic footers will be added to emails sent from Microsoft Viva Amplify and SharePoint when sharing SharePoint News posts.
• Email sent from Microsoft Viva Amplify will contain a new required footer. Emails from Microsoft SharePoint will also contain this footer when SharePoint News posts are shared.
• These footers will include
  • the customer logo,
  • a Microsoft-generated statement,
  • and a privacy statement link.

Demonstration

• I am posting a news in one of the site collection in my development tenant.

• I emailed the news post to my account.
• I received email with footer as shown in below images.

• Please see the image below with footer.
• Footer in email includes
  • Knowledge-Junction / Microsoft 365 Junction logo.
  • Microsoft generated statement for Knowledge-Junction / Microsoft 365 Junction.
• Note: Here, please note, since I didn’t set privacy statement link, privacy statement link is not appearing in the footer.
