Greetings for the day 🙂 LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL 🙂
Today new feature of SharePoint online. Seems to be interesting so thought to share
Feature : SharePoint Events web part will display event images
Details :
- In March, Microsoft announced new feature – giving an option to show the event images in Event web part
- But then timeline for this feature is extended
- Now Event web part has configurable property – “Show event images” as shown in below Fig
- When we add event – Event.aspx page has an option to have the picture as shown
- When we turned off the property – “show event images“, web part shows the events as follows
- If we turn on the Event web part property as, it shows the events with images as shown in below figures
Roll out plan :
- For Targeted releases, already completed in late March
- Late August for Standard releases

Note : Existing web parts will not be affected
