Greetings

Today small article but useful one. Today we will discuss how to pin SharePoint pages, lists, libraries in our Microsoft Teams desktop client channel

Steps

  • Navigate the Team in Teams desktop client in which we need to pin SharePoint page or list or library
  • We can pin SharePoint page / list / library by adding “Tab” to channel for SharePoint app
  • Select the channel where we need to add “Tab” and pin SharePoint page or list or library
  • As in below figure, we are in “General” channel
  • In right pane click on “+” (Add a tab) button

  • As we click on “Add a tab” link, “Apps” dialog appears as shown in below fig

  • To add “SharePoint” app, search for string “SharePoint
  • From the search result select the “SharePoint” app as shown in below fig

  • As we select “SharePoint” app from “Apps” dialog, SharePoint app dialog will appear as shown in below figure
  • Here we have various options as in below fig

  • At right corner there is “About” link
  • On click of “About” link, we will have “About” dialog box as shown in below figure

  • As we click on “Save” button, we will be redirected back to teams channel and our page get loaded as in below fig

  • In the same way we could render SharePoint List or Library
